Tulsa City-County Library Intranet Website (2022)
Played a pivotal role in developing a comprehensive intranet website for the Tulsa City-County Library system. This massive project aimed to create a single source of truth for library knowledge, replacing the previous system of location-specific, siloed information. The goal was to standardize policies and procedures across all 24 branches, ensuring a consistent experience for patrons and staff.
Key Contributions:
- Information Architecture & Content Strategy: Collaborated closely with internal designer and the C-Team to define information flow, develop content type mockups (11 at launch), and establish a centralized knowledge base.
- User Experience & Integration: Designed a user-friendly intranet experience using a custom Drupal theme (PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript). Integrated LDAP for user authentication and directory listings, ensuring proper company-wide organization.
- Enhanced Collaboration & Efficiency: Established a robust graph layer that seamlessly integrates with Microsoft O365/SharePoint. This empowered staff to directly share SharePoint document libraries within the intranet, fostering collaboration and streamlining document access.
Due to the nature of the intranet containing sensitive library data, a public link cannot be provided. However, this project highlights my ability to manage large-scale information systems and integrate complex functionalities.
